What is Youth Voice San Diego?
Youth Voice is a youth led, law enforcement supported on going, community collaborated voluntary leadership program for inner-city youth. The range in age are from 12-20 and represent many different schools within the community. The program connects youth to themselves, their homes, schools, law enforcement and their communities through character education, leadership training, community service opportunities, mentoring and personal development.
Who can Join and what makes Youth Voice Different Than other Programs?
Any youth (12-20 years old) who is interested in leadership and working with the community.
The Difference is : * It a voluntary program * It's Not a start /stop program * Mentoring program with law enforcement * Encourages community connection through collaborative programs.
